Spring has sprung...

Spring is here and I'm still slaying forks. The photo below is broken spring # 2 from a Minute 29 fork. The fix was simple enough and after a call to Hayes a heavier weight spring was installed. A ride over to Lincoln Woods confirmed that the heavier spring was a huge improvement as it made the fork feel far less linear. On the shop front we have our sign and window decal! We're officially a bike shop with actual living and breathing customers already. Crazy, I know... Mike took receipt of a sweet new Redline D660 the other day and took for it's maiden voyage on the ride today. This thing is pretty sweet and it's a bargain racer right out of the box at $1500 (msrp). I may pick one up as well so we can rock the wonder twin dork vibe this season. Or, maybe I'll get a Rocky Mountain Slayer and see how that goes. Mike will be racing on the Redline next Sunday at the King of Burlingame Time Trial and I will be attempting to hobble my way around the course as well. It s...
